Introducing Life-Sync: a coach that reads your calendar

The biggest predictor of fitness plan failure isn't lack of motivation. It's lack of flexibility. Rigid plans crumble the moment life intervenes — a late meeting, a family dinner, a travel day that wipes out your gym routine. Life-Sync is our answer to this.

The problem we set out to solve

When we interviewed early users, the most common failure story wasn't about hard workouts or strict diets. It was about the Tuesday where a meeting ran long, they skipped the gym, the meal plan still assumed they trained, and the whole week unravelled from there.

A good human coach would look at your week and say: 'You have a packed Tuesday and a work dinner Thursday. Let's shift the heavy session to Monday, do a lighter one Wednesday, and I'll build Thursday's plan around restaurant-friendly options.' We wanted to automate that conversation.

How Life-Sync works

Connect your calendar — Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook — and set which event types are 'busy' and which are 'flexible'. Life-Sync reads the week ahead and builds your plan around the gaps, not over them.

  • Identifies training windows (30+ min gaps with low adjacent stress)
  • Scales session length to available time — a 45-min window gets a 40-min plan with warm-up included
  • Adjusts nutrition for the day's activity level — working-from-home day vs. commute + gym day
  • Warns you when the week is over-programmed and suggests which day to treat as active recovery

What it doesn't do

Life-Sync reads event titles and durations only. It doesn't read the content of your emails or meeting notes. Your calendar data is processed to identify time blocks — the content is never stored or analysed. Privacy was a design constraint, not an afterthought.

Early results from our beta

In our early-access group, users with Life-Sync connected completed an average of 3.8 training sessions per week versus 2.4 for users without. More striking: their week-to-week completion rate variance dropped significantly — suggesting they were more consistent, not just more active.

Try it now

Life-Sync is available now in the web app. Connect your calendar in Settings → Integrations. The mobile version — with real-time nudges — arrives with the iOS/Android launch.
